Call For Nation is a charity organisation currently fighting for a better future bit by bit. They first came into existence on 14 December 2019, through the vision of Khan Muhammad Raiyan and Tahmid Tasin. The goal was to form an organisation which would work for the betterment of the poor and needy people suffering from poverty in Bangladesh. This organisation has been in the works for quite some time, but has increased their activity during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Call For Nation frequently distributes food and necessary health care supplies in different areas of Dhaka City. These distributions are funded through the different donations from people and external sources as well as different events and campaigns done by Call For Nation themselves.

Call for Nation has ran some notable campaigns in the past, the majority of which have surfaced in this pandemic

Call For Nation stood beside the people suffering from the Pandemic as a sign of support and highlighted their struggles and suffering to the mass public. They made arrangements for Iftaar for the poor people unable to afford proper Iftaar platters during the month of Ramadan, distributed over 100 T-shirts among the children of poor families even distributed different essential groceries amongst the poor people. Call For Nation organised a fundraising for helping the victims of the recent floods that affected different areas of Bangladesh due to natural calamities.

Among more events catering to the public, Call For Nation organised a photography competition where the topic was for both poverty and nature to highlight different difficulties in their respective places. This event came into being solely for charity and to lessen the struggle of our country’s unfortunate.

Call For Nation also undertook a project so that the animals were not overlooked either! Due to the pandemic and general public negligence, the stray cats and dogs living on the streets were getting malnourished. Call for Nation took an initiative to feed these animals and nourish them back to proper health with an array of food items.

Call For Nation has high hopes and is planning a future initiative of making education available to the poor students of the village areas for free but are not able to implement it yet as they are growing as an organisation and have a long way to go and will hopefully, pick up funding along the way.

The August issue of TDA, Youth in Philanthropy, intends to honour those youth-led organisations which are working selflessly to bring about a change in the society.
