F E A T U R E – C A M P A I G N
Talk Period, Bangladesh (TPBD) is a youth-based online platform established by Foundation 21. It strives to eliminate taboos surrounding menstruation, spread awareness about menstrual hygiene, and create a safe space for everyone to talk about periods.
Launched on 20 March this year, ‘Period Positive Bangladesh’ is a virtual art campaign hosted by Talk Period, Bangladesh. “সংকোচ নয়, এবার হোক সচেতনতা” is the tagline for ‘Period Positive Bangladesh’. This campaign aims to spread period positivity in Bangladeshi society by portraying menstruation through art, with an objective to start conversations about menstruation, and thus help break the taboos surrounding it.
With the creative liberty to choose their media and model, artists participating in the campaign will illustrate any element related to period and present their perception of menstruation through their artworks. The anticipated results of this campaign will be announced on the World Health Day – 7 April. Then the campaign will come to an end.

Artists can participate in the campaign simply by posting their artworks from their social media handles, using the following hashtags: #periodpositiveBangladesh and #letstalkperiod.
